Overview
As a Muslim woman chaplain, I find myself in a unique position, bringing to light so many facets of my personality; sometimes acting as a mother, sometimes a sister, sometimes a doctor and often as a teacher, a friend or a guide. At the same time my work functions at an institutional level, educating the University community and creating a new vision of Muslim chaplaincy.
My chapter starts out as a short excursion into my personal experience and reflections on the world of Muslim chaplaincy which then turns into an arduous but also fulfilling and enjoyable voyage of discovery.
